DAY 1: Arrive Tel Aviv

Upon arrival to airport meet our representative and transfer to Tel Aviv.

DAY 2: Tel Aviv

Drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, including Rabin Square and Rothschild Boulevard and the centre of business and entertainment of Israel - also known as the “White City”. Tel Aviv was declared a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO for its Bauhaus style buildings. Enjoy a tour of the Old City of Jaffa. Visit the ancient ruins and stroll the restored artist’s quarter. Enjoy a walk through the authentic Flea Market.

DAY 3: Coastal Plain

Drive northwards along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great. From there you go on to visit beautiful Haifa and its Bahai Gardens and the fascinating city of Akko to explore the Knights’ Halls and the secret Crusader tunnels. Drive toward Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 4: Sea of Galilee

Enjoy a cruise across the Sea of Galilee in a traditional wooden sailing boat, at Nof Ginosar Kibbutz visit the ancient boat in a modern museum. It is known as the ‘Jesus Boat’, as scientific testing dates the vessel to the time of Christ. Visit Capernaum, to see the synagogue where Jesus preached and the recent excavations of the House of St. Peter. Continue onto Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish. Ascend to the top of the Mt. of Beatitudes, where you can relive the Sermon on the Mount. Ascend to the Golan Heights to view the panoramic view of the peaks of Mt. Hermon, the rugged plateau of the Golan Heights, and beneath it the green pastoral Hula Valley.

DAY 5: Lower Galilee

This morning visit the most complete and impressive Crusader fortress in Israel, the fortress of Belvoir. See the ancient city of Beit Shean, a fully excavated Roman/Byzantine city of Scytopolis. Overview the city of Jericho, one of the earliest settlements dating back to 9000 BCE. Ascend the mountains to the holy city of Jerusalem.

DAY 6: Jerusalem Old City

Start with a spectacular view of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives, and then onto the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the City of David. Walk in illuminated darkness through the water of Hezekiah’s Tunnel, where water has flowed since the time of the prophets. In the Old City visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount (subject to security clearance). Walk the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) until the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion.

DAY 7: Jerusalem New City

See the famous Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Book. View a detailed model of Jerusalem from Herodian times. Experience a moving visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Explore the quaint village of Ein Karem where John the Baptist was born. Visit Bethlehem (subject to security clearance) – the birthplace of Jesus at the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square.

DAY 8: Masada and the Dead Sea

Depart Jerusalem via the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Visit the caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Ascend the mighty fortress of Masada - the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Experience a ‘float’ in the salty waters of the Dead Sea (weather permitting).

DAY 9: Jerash

Drive to Sheik Hussein Bridge for border crossing procedures to enter Jordan. Explore Jerash, the ancient Roman city of the Decapolis. Visit the Citadel and Roman Amphitheater on a panoramic city tour of Amman.

DAY 10: Kings Way

Depart along the Kings Way. See the intricate ancient Mosaic map of the Holy Land at Madaba. Visit Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his passing. Explore the remains of the Byzantine Church with a mosaic floor, and from a platform in front of the church enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Explore Kerak Castle for a tour of the Crusader ruins.

DAY 11: Petra

Highway to Wadi Musa – the modern village of Petra. Enjoy a spectacular full day tour exploring the rose-red city of Petra. Enjoy a short horse ride, and then travel on foot through the awesome ‘SIQ’ valley. Visit the Treasury, and explore hundreds of buildings, tombs, temples, and a 3,000-seat theater from the first-century AD.

DAY 12: Aqaba

Travel south to the towering mountains and rock formations of Wadi Rum, which mesmerised Lawrence of Arabia. Drive through the stunning desert landscapes on a jeep safari, visiting the Lawrence Spring and Khazali Canyon. Onto the Arava border and transfer to Eilat.

DAY 13: At leisure in Aqaba

Free day.

DAY 14: Depart Aqaba

Transfer to Ramon airport. Flight to Tel Aviv.
